Remember we serve our full menu all day!

We are now serving Ice Cream Sundaes

Two generous scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream drizzled with Chocolate or Strawberry sauce topped with a large swirl of whipped cream and a wafer.

“Do you know the origins of Ice cream Sundaes? they are a variation on the ice cream soda, the drinking of ice cream sodas was outlawed on Sundays in several American towns, it is widely believed that Evanston Illinois was one of the first locations to pass a “Blue Law” against selling ice cream sodas on Sundays in 1890. To get round this some ingenious confectioners and drug store operators in town, whilst obeying the law, served ice cream with the syrup of your choice, without the soda [on Sundays]. Thereby complying with the law, this sodaless soda was the “Sunday soda”, as sales of the dessert continued on weekdays also, local Methodist leaders then objected to naming the dish after the Sabbath, so the spelling of the name was changed to Sundae.”

Hen Party, Baby Shower, Birthday…
just about any celebration can be enjoyed in our function room upstairs.
